Test - Dice rolls
Here is a topic that will be used to test die rolls, character sheets and other features for the roleplays.
You can now see an option below the post editing panel: It shows a dice selection. There is a number of dice that will all find a use for at least Terror Passports.
Number die: Will be used on a few occasions, but you can use it also for fun, to play dice here.
Lock-Run-Sight-Special Die: This is a Terror Pasports-only die. It has three abilities.
-Lock: When, during Terror Passports, you end up in front of a door. I or another roll the die. Depending on the result, the door will be either locked or unlocked.
-Run: A monster is near. It spots you. Roll the die. Depending on the roll, you will either escape from the monster or get caught.
-Sight: A monster is near. Does it see you? Roll the die, and depending on the result, the monster sees you or doen't.
-Special: Sometimes Sight will be replaced by special features. You'll have them explained to you through the missions.
1 means an option, 2 means the other option.
Aim die: Sometimes a single hit is enough to destroy a monster; in that case, use the Aim die. If you aim right, the monster is destroyed.
Locations Die: When you have a choice between many options (places to go to, more specifically), you roll that die and go to the designed place.
Hit Point Die: Each time you attack a mission Boss (this goes to any roleplay actually), roll that die. The result will be deducted to the Boss' Hit Points. The Boss also can roll that die to attack one of the heroes. Decide of an amount of Life Points for each character you control; it's better if it is higher than 100 but lower than 1000.
All these features can be modified, depending on the roleplay. More information on this later.

Case #1. Rolling the number die.
See the result when the post will appear. Even I don't know what it will be.

Re: Test - Dice rolls
The Lock-Run-Sight-Special Die.
I will roll the die 4 times.
First time for Lock. 1 means the door is unlocked, 2 means the door is locked.
Second time for Run. 1 means all heroes escaped, 2 means at least 1 hero has been captured.
Third time for Sight. 1 if the monster didn't see the heroes, 2 if the monster did see them.
Fourth time for "special". Let's sat this time the heroes have to walk across a cliff on a rope. I roll the die. 1 means all heroes go through, 2 means at least 1 hero fell down. (Chaos Control by Shadow can prevent that situation, but sometimes the solving of the mystery is down the cliff)
Let's go then!

Re: Test - Dice rolls
Well, that was lucky. Usually only 1 roll will be asked, and it will not be asked for all missions.
I don't own the books 7 and lower, and all the missions based on books I don't have will not have that luck factor, except against the boss at the end of each mission, when there is one.
Now the Aim die, when it can be a OHKO on the monster as long as it's aimed well at its weak spot.

Shoot, I missed!
(1 means success, 2 means failure)
Locations die will work as such. I'll dictate locations and numbers. Roll the die for the whole team; the number on the die will decide which location to go to.
Example, Mission 8 with Monstropoly. The locations are locations on the board where the player can put his piece to, and it will trigger a small adventure.
1, 2: Sandtimer Square
3, 4: Dreaded "13" Square
5, 6: Draw a Card Square
7, 8: Castle Square
9, 10: Lamp Square
When a place has been visited, it can't be visited again. Let's see...

Re: Test - Dice rolls
I would have the "Draw a Card" Square.
Last but not least, Hit Points Die. A monster appears!
Hit Points: 100
Roll the die once.

Re: Test - Dice rolls
I defeated the monster! Hurray!
This explains everything for the dice. Have fun using that feature.
This topic will stay up so you can have fun testing the dice.
Feel free to mime boss battles and try the Hit Point Die too. However, try to remember not to make the villains so almighty that they have too many hit points to be defeated. Keep that to the final boss. (I will create another die for the Super Form Hit Points attacks)
